Thanks. I think they are great. Their new album is available for pre-order now.
Another band could be HIM...I think that would give PMM good expsosure...

scooter's voice is a bit of an enigma (for those of you unfamiliar w/ cold, scooter is their lead singer). maybe its from over-producing their albums, but he can only hit about half the notes in his songs when they perform live. they still sound really really good, but there's a slight hitch to it, almost like if you were to compare the live show to the studio recordings you would be able to easily distinguish the portions of the song that were recorded in different studio sessions. you notice this on songs like "stupid girl" or "it's all good", but yet he'll hit other songs like "just got wicked" or "wasted years" perfectly it's rather bizarre. If you want to hear what im talking about you can go to www.bleedinginternally.com (a Cold fansite) and download some of their live stuff. this is an observation, not a criticism as they are an outstanding band live, and scooter's voice is great. I would still recommend that if you haven't seen Cold live you should if you get the chance

I've seen them live before. but from a vhs tape. but i have never been to one of their shows. yuh sometimes he doesnt hit the vocals just right but sometimes vocalists get in some kind of mood where they dont wanna sing they way they are suppose to so they just say things normally like they were just talking to you, and not as drawn out as the recording sound. Scooter does that a good big from what ive heard. But this tens to happen a lot with vocalists with accents.

that was the song that they couldn't hit the high notes on!! it was kinda funnny, but they kick ass so no one cared!
side note: I flipped my car about a year and a half ago and when everything settled and i was upside down...I heard dust in the wind on my stereo..it was odd
