A lot of people are probably going to say what I'm about to say. But it was a Big time for PMM. I heard about the movie End of Days coming out. Saw Previews and heard that the soundtrack was going to have a bunch of bands on it that i was into at the time. Like korn I was a huge korn fan back then. And I heard from a site that it was going to be another one of them soundtrack rare songs to where they only use it for that movie and not land it on their albums. So when the movie hit. I was there to see it cause I thought it looked awesome from the previews. I enjoyed the movie and liked how they cut in the songs. I then started talking to everyone at school about it. and a Friend went out and got me the End of Days Soundtrack and from there I listened to korn a lot and saw a band named Professional murder music on it. so i went to it to see what they sounded like cause i had never heard of that band name before. And it was up there with a bunch of big named people. I found myself listening to it alot. Until i ended up downloading it until i went out and bought it.

Wow. It was a long time ago. I don't even remember how long ago it was. Years. I was with a promotion company, and they said a band I would be promoting was PMM. They told me to go see them at Center City Fest in Charlotte NC, so I did. I went backstage and met the guys. All of them were generally nice. They gave me about 300 cds and flats and stickers to hang out. And signed some stuff for me. I ended up giving my signed stuff to Brandon. [o=

aahhhhh..... the "how did you hear about PMM" question.... well let me just say it was NOT through any demo CDs/tapes or MTV... i had gotten into them around the end of my junior year (i'm a senior now) and i first came across them when i was... well... on a hunt for some anime videos containing some... ehm... "yaoi" and i came across this video from the anime X/1999 and the song featured was "A Night Like This" and.. yea... it was an awesome video.... the song and the video, to me, just go together perfectly. i tried to do some research on who the song was by (cuz it didnt say) and i came across the band's name and started downloading some of their songs... but to be honest.... i really didnt like their songs in the beginning (except "your world" and "night like this") but then... well.... they grew on me.... and thats the whole story.... long one... but different from all the other stories here on this page.... hah... if anyone wants that video... let me know!!!

I'm afraid I heard about PMM the same way as Brandon. I was watching the trailer for "End of Days" and saw in the credits a list of bands that were on the soundtrack. So, I went out and bought it. Saw the tracklisting and noticed Professional Murder Music. Upon seeing this, I thought to myself, "Who the hell would name themselves Professional Murder Music?" SO, I gave the song (Slow) a listen and thought it was great.
But at that time, I wasn't an internet goon like I am now and just kinda accidently ran into the PMM album. Thought it was great and have been a fan since.

I got an email from Josh about the band he was playing with. So I did the search engine, and wa la! I found your site through the message board on thier official site. I downloaded a song and a pic, and I'm still learning.

I had went to Colorado to see Cold in February 2001 and PMM was one of the opening bands. I really liked what I heard and waited a few months for their first CD to be released and have loved PMM ever since.

A few years ago, I had heard about them from a couple mutual friends. I heard some of the material, and ended up joining with the street team when they were still with Loudside. Saw/met them for the first time on the Amen tour; Skum was my savior from the very creepy tour manager at the time... and that's when all the debauchery started. haha.
